Aaron Sampson is a freelance self-shooting director based in South West London. He has been producing and editing videos since 2006 and has worked for companies such as IGN, AskMen, NBC Universal and Al Jazeera.
Aaron has had work broadcast live on the BBC Big Screen in Portsmouth, published on the AskMen website as well as being asked to produce content for the NHS. He has also worked on television series such as Game of Thrones, The Crown & Wolf Hall, and films such as Star Wars: The Force Awakens, The Martian & Transformers: The Last Knight.
Aaron has been directing since 2014. His directing work is predominantly music video based with the exception of video production at live events. He has directed music videos for London based bands and artists such as The Tailormade, Tom Butler, James Flett & Legomen Trio.
Aaron has been operating cameras in various capacities since 2006. From working in live television studios, to casting studios, to outside broadcasts, to shooting his own work, Aaron has familiarised himself with the workings of a range of cameras and how to produce the best results with each.
Aaron has been editing video for over a decade. Using industry standard software from Final Cut, to Avid Media Composer, to Adobe Premier Pro, he has developed his post production abilities to a level that accompanies his skill set to make him a proficient self-shooter.
