Aaron has been operating cameras with various lighting set-ups since 2006. From live television studios, casting suites, outside broadcasts, and, of course, shooting his own work. Aaron has familiarised himself with the workings of a range of cameras and lighting equipment and is confident in producing the best results in any situation.
Aaron has been editing video for over a decade. Using industry standard software from Final Cut, to Avid Media Composer, though his preferred software of choice is Adobe Premier Pro. He has developed his post production abilities to a level that accompanies his skill set to make him a proficient self-shooter.
Some Recent Projects
Black Dog
Live performance style video shot and edited during the COVID-19 crisis. Due to Duncan being based in Bristol I had to direct him in how best to light and film himself for me to then be able to edit it at a later stage. Similar to Flett’s video this one also heavily features the use of stock footage to help convey feelings and depictions of depression.
No Matter Where You Are
Live performance style video shot at the National Theatre in London. During the COVID-19 crisis I had to turn to stock stock footage to accompany the lyrics and pre-shot performance helping to tell a story of friendship and love.
